Formerly classified under genus 'Sansevieria', Dracaena masoniana is a species from the family Nolinoideae and is native to Congo. Does best in bright light, including full sun if properly irrigated. Needs a very well draining potting medium, and should be regularly watered. This is not a very drought-tolerant plant, and long periods of dryness should be avoided. Leaves will start to brown if the plant is underwatered.
