Agave nizandensis is native to the region of Oaxaca in Mexico. Leaves are dark green and narrow with a pale midstripe. Plant reaches a diameter of ca 60cm (2 ft). When mature, it sends out new shoots and forms a clump over time. Grown in part shade to full Sun. Tolerates temperatures down to 0 degrees Celsius (32 F).
